Advice: We offer information and support to prospective students as they make their personal choices regarding their academic and career paths; we also assist current students with topics such as academic planning, choosing a master’s program, entering the workforce, and career opportunities, as well as challenges they may face during their studies, such as study and work techniques or decision-making dilemmas. Counseling and information services cover higher education opportunities throughout Switzerland.

Psychological counselling: We advice students at the University of Basel on personal and psychological issues.

Information Center with material on study programs, career opportunities, career planning, studying abroad, learning and working techniques as well as psychological issues. A contact person is always available to assist you with your questions.

Events on topics related to studying and careers

We are open to high school graduates from Basel-Stadt, individuals interested in studying at the University of Basel, and students at the University of Basel. Consultations are confidential, independent, and free of charge.
